Trading Kamara off a Championship Win

Trying to stay ahead of the curve on this one and wondering if I'd crazy by looking at some of the values online

A player in our league has the 1.04, 1.07 and 1.09. I'm debating offering him Kamara for all 3 of them.

I do think it will hurt my team overall, but with Mixon, Cook and Swift I think I can manage the loss of production while ensuring I keep my team fairly young.

Is this just rookie fever kicking in (my 1st pick isn't till the 3rd round) or is this a logical strategy

Kamara for 3 1sts coming off of a championship year with that RB group? Yeah, I think I'm taking the picks here. Would prefer a proven asset and 2 1sts or at least 2 of the 3 being early but it feels like a pretty good return. Not sure you'll be netting more than 3 1sts value for Kamara going forward. He's been an oddly undervalued asset with Brees leaving. I don't agree but I've seen it across all of my leagues. Also like the idea of incorporating some youth into your roster to keep it rolling.

Based on your build and looking forward, I would be interested in that deal. Kamara has a few question marks this year fair or not with a new QB. I'm not sure other owners are buying for that price based on his age and new QB, but I think it's still a fair ask and a decent move for your team given your build. It hurts a flex spot a bit though depending on how the picks turn out.

Thats been my thought, I had the chance to sell MT last year at his peak and didn't - so kinda kicking myself. Thinking I'd prefer to get off the train 1-2 years early compared to 1-2 years late.

I've found the trade market for Kamara is very depressed - at least where I have him. People seem to be looking at the sample set when Hill was at QB and are concerned about Kamara not being as large a part of the passing game without Brees.

Send out the offer but I've found he's a hold where I got him.

I'd move Kamara for those picks. I'm definitely a tad concerned about his role without Brees... it was ugly without Brees last year. Those picks are nice is an interesting draft class too.

For reference, I moved Kamara (similar situation where I had RB depth) for Justin Jefferson straight up. Probably looks ugly on paper to some but I think it'll look great coming into next season.

I would also be looking for some sort of proven asset to go with 2 1sts. But, can't blame ya for taking 3 current 1sts with what you're left with.

I'd keep putting out feelers to see if anyone is interested. Kamara is one of the players that I'm concerned about heading into his year 5 (I think right?) and a QB question. There is a chance that Hill gets the starting job, and if he does I want nothing to do with Kamara. If you can manage to get 3 1sts value from him from someone else I would go for it.

Also out of curiosity, was there any counter?

The guy is one of the less active owners - but he's got 6 1sts in the next 2 years. So I'm still working on him a bit

I own Kamara in a couple of leagues and in those leagues I’d love to get that return.

I’m not too worried about Kamara post Brees but I am preparing myself for a slight dip in that elite upside.

In the leagues I’m in no one would pay that for him right now
