Mostert for 2.11

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Team 3 in sig. would you trade Mostert for 2.11? Have a win now roster but obviously concerned about my QB situation.

Mostert is more valuable than the 2.11 and does not solve your QB situation either. Keep Mostert

I dont think getting the 2.11 helps you at QB. Mostert is a huge gamble, but I would lean holding for the RB depth. If the 2nd was a bit earlier, I would sell.

2.11 isn't doing much for your QB situation either way and it's a dart throw. This just comes down to dart throw vs RB with injuries piling up for me. 9/10 I'd say keep the RB depth, but with this being SF and about Mostert, I'll take the dart throw from what I view as a deep tier 3 of non-QBs.

I more meant that my season could head downhill quickly with my QB situation so wondering if moving declining assets for picks was a smart move even though I have a win now build. Didn’t think I could do much at QB with 2.11

Appreciate the thoughts.

before selling mostert, why don't you look for a qb instead. Mostert is likely worth more than 2 dart throws to a contending team. See what it would take to get guys like:
Brady, Goff, Fitzpatrick, Matt Ryan, Dalton, Tyrod Taylor. Especially if one of those players is on a rebuilding team.

Have tried. League values QBs like gold. Best offer I got was Dalton for 2.06- every other one on that list is basically untouchable (even Tyrod)

Ah, how I have kicked myself for only taking 2 viable QB's in a SF startup. I hate being in your position and find myself there in a few leagues. Agree with the masses. I would look elsewhere. Mostert isn't going to net a QB on his own. Perhaps a larger package with a QB heavy team in the league? May have to leverage some future pick value. I would personally lean that direction if I thought I was going to finish the season as a playoff team.

2.11 just isn’t worth it. Might be best waiting till the season starts and Mostert puts some good games up. His value will be higher and other RBs could get injured putting another team in a position of need. If he isn’t enough to fetch a QB alone maybe add picks or D Johnson to the trade

I'm holding here and waiting on two things. First I'm waiting until draft day and if a player starts to fall I'm looking at making the move. Second with his injury issues I'm waiting until he strings together a few quality games and then moving him. Watson is going to be a huge hole on your roster and with ARod in his late 30's you will need a over haul at the qb position.

I think 2.11 for Mostert is fine. He's 29 and although may see plenty of touches this yr, his time is nearly up. Despite limited picks, SF could easily draft someone too.
