Ok I wanna try to get this trade done but I keep hesitating because I’m scared I’m going to mess this up! He came in 10th last season. But doesn’t have a first for 2021.

Give: Chase Edmonds and my 2022 1st
Get: Melvin Gordon and his 2022 1st

The idea behind this is to get his first, which I project his team to be bottom 3..

QB: Daniel Jones, Burrow
WR: Robby Anderson, Brandin cooks, AJ Green, Josh Reynolds, Mike Williams, DeSean Jackson, David Moore

RB: Gordon, Singletary, Henderson, Sony, Ingram, Bell

I’m starting to feel like this isn’t a good strategy.. how strong do you see his team?

That team is not in great shape and I would guess will not be a playoff team. Always hard to predict a year out, but I think selling high on the offseason hype of Edmonds and getting a likely earlier 1st is a solid deal here. I would look to flip Gordon for a good price if it can be found also.

I like doing trades like that. Although they sometimes bite you in the bleep. His team does sorta look fragmented. But lots can happen between now & september.

I'd also try and secure this deal. I've been trying a few teams in one of my leagues with this type of deal as well, but the owners seem to be on vacation.
