Dak/Chase or Lawrence/McLaurin?

I traded up for the 1.01 pick in my league with the intention of taking Trevor Lawrence. Our league scoring heavily favors passing QBs and my starter Matt Ryan is on borrowed time.

I’m thinking of offering Terry McLaurin to the Dak Prescott owner, then using my pick on Ja’Marr Chase. Which two players would you prefer going forward:

Dak/Chase or Trevor/Terry?

Prescott + for me. Chase looks like a great prospect and Prescott has shown to be an elite fantasy QB.

Dak/Chase because we have proof that Dak can be a T5 QB. For TLaw, we have only hope. I say that as someone who has a lot of faith in TLaw, but facts are facts, and the only QB in this comparison who has NFL facts on his side is Dak.

Dak has shown to be one of the most durable QBs in football. Because of it Dallas, behind that beefy O line, has designed runs, specifically, designed *goal line* runs. That makes Dak special.

But you said your league favors passing QBs? Over rushing ones? How so?

Dak/chase all the way. McLaurin has great talent but he’s in murky water QB wise. Dak could have easily been QB1 last year and looks like he’s a lock for top5 for the foreseeable future

It isn't a 2 for 2 trade.

Terry for Dak is a great deal

The OP then still has the 1.01 which is Lawrence in SF. If not taking him, then I recommended trading down a few spots and grabbing Chase

Edit: I see now it might not be SF, but scoring is increased for QB. Which in that case Trevor probably isnt the pick at 1.01. I'm not sure of the settings though at this point lol

This isn’t a SF league, but QB get 6 pts per TD, and 1 pt per completion (-1 for incomplete passes) so the top QB averages over 50 points a week which is double what studs like Kamara or Adams put up last year in our league.

It’s skewed toward QB who throw a ton like Dak and Rogers and limits guys like Lamar who don’t even complete 20 passes some weeks.

Good grief! If QBs are that high scoring then I’d definitely be swing if you do as Jigga suggested and get Dak for McLaurin, then draft Lawrence...even in 1QB. Sell one of them for a haul or be set in case of injury without missing a beat. In that scoring, Lawrence should still be 1.01 I would think.

Sell one of them for a haul or be set in case of injury without missing a beat. In that scoring, Lawrence should still be 1.01 I would think.

And on top of that crazy scoring, it seems like it's 16 teamer which increases QB value already
