I'm also in a 12 team 1 Qb IDP league, Mooney is on our waiver wire. So, I'll take the 2.10.

Re: Which side is better?
I get selling Mooney but not for such a tiny return
Re: Which side is better?
I'm not sure if I would unload Mooney to receive a 2.10, but I'm positive I would not trade a 2.10 to get Mooney.

Re: Which side is better?
It depends how much idp and how far down that extends the value in the draft. As of right now I'd rather mooney over an uncertain rookie. During the draft I very easily may have someone at 2.10 that I would like to draft instead of keeping mooney

I mean...he had more yards as a rookie playing with Nick Foles and Mitch Trubisky than at least three of your WRs have had in a season their whole careersDynastyDynasty wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 4:33 pmYeah, the team in my sig. Re: Which side is better?
True. No doubt about that. But, would you honestly drop any of the 3 for Mooney? I guess that's somewhat rhetorical, because you're saying you would. I'll have to give it some thought. I still like the upside of all of my bench WR's over Mooney's. Even though he didn't do terrible in the situation you described.StripesOfKC wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 4:38 pmI mean...he had more yards as a rookie playing with Nick Foles and Mitch Trubisky than at least three of your WRs have had in a season their whole careersDynastyDynasty wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 4:33 pmYeah, the team in my sig. Re: Which side is better?
Personally, he has more of a shot than Keke at this point. And I'd probably take him over Patrick also. Mooney's in the Parris Campbell, Hardman range for meDynastyDynasty wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 4:33 pmYeah, the team in my sig. I'm all ears. I appreciate the input. What am I missing on Mooney? Mooney is still a long shot, don't get me wrong (all Day 3 NFL drafted WR are), but I believe he had solid separation numbers his rookie year. He was out-snapping Anthony Miller, so it was encouraging he climbed to WR2 on the depth chart. He won't push ARob, but he's a complimentary WR to him. And even then, ARob is probably on his way out next year. Not to mention Dalton is a QB upgrade, albeit slight. Lots of little things working in his favor, but it could very well be nothing.
But the decision for his potential over Keke is clear. Keke hasn't had a season over 300 yards in his first 3... Mooney just had 61/631/4. Even as prospects, I like Mooney more. Worse draft capital by a round (both still day 3 picks), but slightly faster, taller, bigger hands, earlier breakout.
And if you buy into ADP, Mooney is WR61, Keke isn't in the top100. Tim Patrick is 102... Hope this helps!
Also, I pick up these end of the bench guys so frequently and cycle them through and most never start for me so I started shooting for upside. The better they perform earlier on, the better in my opinion
