Future or Tyreek?

Postby Dunville » Fri Apr 09, 2021 8:35 am

Team 1 in sig,

So Hill owner is in need of a rebuild - he acquired Hill cheaply last offseason but is miles away from competing.

I feel I’m a contender but realise my team has quite a few of those unsexy guys who throughout the next year or so will lose significant trade value (Kamara, Thielen, KA etc...) but are valuable to me as a contender.

I obviously know Hill is a stud and would greatly improve my team.

To get him I’d likely have to give up all of my picks this year and in 2022 along with a couple of guys like Chark and Goedert. With it being a deep IDP league the 3rds actually carry a bit of value.

I’ve been stung in the past making “all in” moves so that’s maybe where my hesitation is coming from.

Thanks guys

I would grab Hill for the price if it ends up being along the lines of Goedert and Chark +. Hill is a great asset and tied to Mahomes.

Unless you think your picks are gonna randomly be crazy high, you go for Hill here and go for the ship. I hate him as a human but the value is clear on his side.

I would take Hill here and go for the championship this year, you should be able to sell him next offseason for a comparable price if you need to add youth.

Easy win for you. I see the IDP angle increases later rookie pick value but Hill is worth more than a late 1st next year, 2 late 2nds, late 3rd, other lower picks, and either Chark or Goedert.
