Enough for Dobbins

Postby megager » Fri Apr 09, 2021 8:04 am

For team below.

Aaron Jones is fantastic, but coming into age 27 season but has the security of a contract.

I love JK Dobbins opportunity, he did look very good and has youth on his side.

I am leaning to Dobbins side myself.

Thanks v much.

As much as I like Jones, I would go Dobbins here. Jones is closer to the end of an elite age RB versus Dobbins who could just be getting started.

Based on the team in your sig, you don't even desperately need a RB; so Dobbins and the trade down in age is worth it to me.

This is a big overpay, imo. Even if you don't need RB, you shouldn't be giving them away. I wouldn't add anything on top of Jones in this trade (or very little). Dobbins is good, but the Baltimore philosophy lowers his ceiling for me.

I’m taking Dobbins here. It may be a bit of an overpay now, but that’s not going to hold true for long, IMO.
