Watson for D. Jones

RBs Barkley, Zeke, Hunt, Swift, Harris

WR’s Cooper, Diggs, Robinson, Boyce C. Samuel

TE Henry, Howard, Knox

Do I sacrifice the sell low for a shot at the title?

Oof. That’s rough. I imagine this offer isn’t going anywhere, so I’d probably wait until closer to the start of the season and see how Watson’s situation shakes out.

If you have 3 QBs I wouldn't sell low on Watson in a SF dynasty league , People are trying to buy low from me but I'm not interested , I am trying to buy low wherever I can though

idk I think if he gets suspended the most he gets is 6 games and if you have a decent QB to plug in for him you should be ok

I'll dissent and vote for trading Watson. If you think you can win this season, I don't think you want to gamble on Watson contributing. Now that some of these charges have moved from civil to criminal court, I think it's very likely Goodell puts Watson on the Commissioner's Exempt list for the entire season. These cases are not going to be resolved until after the season, and the NFL isn't going to want every Sunday morning football show from week 1 to week 17 to have a piece on how the controversy is affecting Watson/Houston/NFL. Take Watson out of the games, and you lessen the press about it.

For SF teams that aren't in contend-now mode, or who maybe have 3 other starting QBs, maybe those teams can hold out for a year to see what happens. But if he's found guilty in these cases, Watson might become kryptonite to most NFL owners - like Vick and Ray Rick after their incidents. If he's found guilty after the '21 season, he might then be suspended with no pay for at least 6-8 games.

Sure, you can gamble and hope he plays all 16 games this season. But if we get to week 1 and find out Watson is not playing, I'm not sure you'll be able to get DJones for him at that time. Shop around now if you don't like Jones and want to try someone else like Goff or Fitz, but I'd be trying to move Watson in SF. The cost of not having 2 starting QBs is too much to risk for a contending caliber team.

I would exhaust every other possible option to get a fill in before doing a trade like this. In 2 years Jones could be out of a job and Watson could be looking at 8-10 years of production.

I would hold Watson here. Jones just isn’t enough to get me to cut bait yet even in SF.

I'd hold Watson still. I would discount him from a QB4 to a QB 10 but Jones isn't making me give up on a top guy right now.

Despite all the concern, I would hold Watson. I'm all for shopping him and getting out for a good price, but this deal is not that.

In my super flex I have Watson, Darnold/Bridge/Dalton and guys like mullens ect

If I can piece together 2 starters out of the gate I think I hold. I’m def a contender

In my 1 qb league I have Watson I’m thinking of moving him for Tanny and D Harris NE. Also contender

No no no. Hold Watson. This being SF BB, you don't even need 3 QB as badly. Tannehill and Darnold should give you enough upside for the QB spot and may land in the SF spot some weeks still. Daniel Jones doesn't really help that...

And that's assuming Watson doesn't play all 17 games.

I think jones is a decent "throw in" here...but would not move watson for him straight up. Maybe a counter would work here.
