Between the lawsuits and the holdout, I doubt Watson plays week 1 at this point, though I still think he plays again. I'm going to need another QB and I'm trying to contend next season. I figure I can try

Drake for Matt Ryan

Mooney for Stafford

Which would you prefer?

I would rather move Drake but Stafford is the better investment long term. Depending on how long Watson is out, Ryan might be the cheaper way to go.

While I'd prefer to hold on to Mooney over Drake, I like Stafford quite a bit more than Ryan. I don't see either as a bad deal, but I really like Stafford's prospects in McVay's offense, so I'd rather buy Stafford for the price.

I think Watson is still likely to play again at some point, but also likely to miss time through suspension or holdout.

I guess the question is whether Ryan is good enough to fill the time when Watson is out, because Ibhave no need for Drake and can sell him to the Jacobs owner for Ryan in this deal.

Ryan is certainly good enough

I think Stafford has home run upside however and think you have the WR depth to sell Mooney
