Trade: Moving up 5 spots in the 2nd

I'm contemplating a trade to move up from the 2.06 to the 2.01, (would also like to add a few young pieces).

Give: Jalen Hurts + Marvin Jones + 2.06
Get: Everett + Mattison + 2.01

Thoughts on the offer?

I'm a big Hurts fan but I he's kind of irrelevant as my QB2 in a rebuild, (unless of course he puts up a top-10 season and gains value).

Also, it's worth noting that my target in the 2nd round is Amon-Ra St. Brown...I think I might be in range for him with the 2.06. Is it worth holding and hoping? Wait until the draft?

Leaves you thin at QB and seems a little steep to move up, but not bad overall. I would hold though and see if Hurts value goes up.

I don’t think it’s a bad deal by any means, and I actually really like the thought of locking up Mattison, but would rather hold off until after the NFL draft to see if it looks necessary to move up at the cost of losing Hurts. For me, his arrow just kind of started pointing up with the trade down to 12, so I’d rather wait to see if they add a weapon that might put a bit more hype behind the offense and cash out for more later in the offseason.

I don't think losing Hurts is a big deal, but it's only 5 spots. Who are you targeting at 2.01? I'd think a similar player will be there at 2.06

Edit. I read it's Amon you are targeting... Personally I'd go for any other WR in that range and be fine with it

I'm surprised people are okay sending this. I don't think you're getting enough back. While Hurts may not have nearly as much value in a 1QB as a SF, neither does the 2.01. Hurts is going to get a chance to be the starter this year. He's going to use his legs, so his floor should be high. I'd look at selling him during the season. He alone should get you close to a mid 2nd.

Based on current ADP, there's a pretty decent chance one of them will be there @ 2.06

That's fair. Still seems like the consensus is to hold for now.
And I may be able to move up a few spots (maybe 2.03 or 2.04) for a lot cheaper and still get one of my guys

I would wait, as long as they are both available you have options. I wouldn't worry until 1 of them is taken, then I would look at possibly moving up to get the other one. They might both be there until right before you and then there is no need to move up.
