SF PPR TEP Startup - Trading down from 1.06

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

SF PPR TEP Startup - Trading down from 1.06

Postby atlmoneyman » Sun Apr 04, 2021 2:00 pm

I’m looking to trade down from 1.06 in a 12 team Superflex TEP (1.5) startup. We can trade 2022 picks but half the league is new to dynasty and I suspect that they will be hesitant to move future 1sts..

How far would you be willing to trade down?
What would you be looking for in return?

Depends on what is coming back. Is there any interest so far. Outside of getting a later pick and a solid prospect, I would not be looking to move back.

I would make the pick publicly available but who a newer group, not sure what kind of others may come.

I have a conversation going around moving out of the 1st completely. To trade the 1.06 for his 2nd 3rd and 5th. When I put names around who those picks could be it is really interesting. Another conversation was to move from 1.06 to his late 1st and get his early 2nd also.

What are starting positions? I would move 1.06 for 2, 3, 5 quite fast regardless of format but format and starting positions could make the price go up/down.

12 Team Superflex PPR, TE Premium (1.5)
12 Starters 1-2 QB, 2-7 RB, 2-7 WR, 1-7 TE, 1-2 DEF

Trading opens up on Thursday so in theory I have a few days to figure it out. But folks are already agreeing to deals so I need to be on it.

Especially in a start 12! That’s very deep. I’d move back for much less.

So looking at Superflex ADP from this site that would allow me to trade:

I give QB Justin Herbert

I get back Justin Jefferson, Travis Kelce & Travis Etienne with those picks.

I would do that 10 times out of 10.

For the guys saying stay at 1.06....help me see it.

Depends where the 2nd and 3rd rounder end up but I'd probably do it for just those. The 5th on top is pretty sweet.

Feels like it would be Herbert or a top RB for a fringe QB1 + RB2 + WR2/3. That's pretty good value

Not sure if that ADP accounts for the TE Prem but I agree with you. Where are the 2,3 and 5th rounders exactly?

I was totally misreading this post...yes, move the 1.06 for a startup round picks easily. My mind was stuck on rookie round picks and I was very confused by the offer in the first place.

Great deal here for you.
