How Far Would You Go For Diggs?

How far would you go to land Diggs for the team in my sig? His current owner is in a major rebuild, his team is a straight up mess and despite knowing he is in a rebuild, he previously sent Gibson/1st to me for Diggs (I had already had a deal in place to combine that 1st with mine to get Metcalf before doing the Gibson deal). Well, he’s now got Diggs on the block, and I’m happy to take him back at the right price.

Would some combination of Gibson (yes, he was involved in the original trade, but I’ve landed Dobbins since so would be willing to deal him back), Higgins, or Claypool be too much? Or would I be better off just sitting tight and not pushing to get Diggs back with where my team is now? Thanks!

Personal preference for Higgins over Claypool so I’d try adding him to Gibson. I still think it’s a little much. Can you get a pick in return? I’m a Gibson fan though and being a RB he should cost a little more.

I’ve robbed him far more than once, to be fair. Only once regarding Diggs though...so far.

With your RB core, I would offer up Gibson and Claypool. I sure would not add Higgins though. That is a fair offer and helps the other owner in a major rebuild.

Not sure this helps but diggs just went for Amati Cooper and 1.07 in this years draft in one of my leagues

He’s pretty into Higgins, as am I, but I wouldn’t be adding him to Gibson. If I could get him to take Higgins/Smith Jr or Kmet would you be amenable to moving Higgins? Or would Higgins be a straight hold for the prospective long term value relative to Diggs (not that Diggs is old lol)?

I love Gibson, but with your build, I'd gladly do Gibson+Claypool+Higgins.

I'd want the best player in the deal, and that's Diggs by far. It's arguable that based on your roster, you're trading three Flex guys for a Top3 WR. I don't see how you say no to that opportunity.

Personally, I don't like to totally gut naive owners, so I would probably offer a little more than I think it would take. Just because the guy would accept a lesser deal doesn't make it a fair deal. That's why I'd go with the trio. Honestly, it won't hurt your team one iota. And it helps the deal not be a total screwover for the other guy.

Oh dang! I thought I was pretty high on Gibson, but the market seems to be a bit hotter for him than I expected. I’m not crazy about the idea of moving Gibson and not having 4 startable options at RB, so I really think I’m going to just ask him what his price is for Diggs and just go from there.
