Kenny G and Edmonds for Aiyuk and Hunt

Postby The.Big.Spank » Sat Apr 03, 2021 4:52 pm

12 Team, PPR, non SF

Which side do you like better and why? He thinks Aiyuk is absolutely the WR1 in SF over Deebo, I am not sure. My original offer was Golladay and Drake. He said no way.

I prefer the Aiyuk + side. I think both he and Golladay are solid WR2 types week to week, but Hunt is a way better option then Edmonds. Owners heavily investing in Edmonds will likely be disappointed post draft.

I would take Aiyuk/Hunt here as well. I value Golladay and Aiyuk similarly, slight edge to Golladay but not by much. I think Hunt is a far more reliable option as the #2 in Cleveland even than Edmonds as the possible #1 in AZ.

I'm taking the Aiyuk/Hunt side, but I can't say this trade excites me.

I have Golladay securely above Aiyuk. Hunt is safely above Edmonds, but still in a timeshare. Edmonds' value can't be properly evaluated right now until we know what AZ does in free agency and the draft, but based on what he did with the starting job in 2020 he's at best a low-end RB2 for a mediocre team, and probably more like a sometimes flex for a winning team.

However, if you would rather have Aiyuk than Golladay, then this looks like a great trade for what you want to do. Go for it.

If your goal is to improve RB, I'd do the trade as long as I had some insurance in case Aiyuk falters out of being a fantasy starting option.

Looks like you lowballed him a little bit on that first offer. Second one is better, but I won't bite if I were the Aiyuk owner.

As an Aiyuk and Hunt owner, the drop from Hunt to Edmonds is too uncertain to gamble with for me.

Hunt is basically an every week starter, but also the highest upside "handcuff" in the game. Potential league winning production if Chubb goes down. Kind of a rare combo.

Even though Golladay is the most talented player in the deal... New offense, coming off injury, QB downgrade. I think Golladay/Edmonds side has major upside but it's TOO high risk/high reward.

I feel much more confident in Aiyuk and Hunt to continue to produce vs. hoping Golladay immediately resumes as a top 10WR.

Aiyuk/Hunt side easily. Hunt quietly finished as an RB1 last year, and although Chubb missed some time Hunt was actually better with Chubb in the lineup most weeks.

Right now it's Aiyuk/Hunt pretty easily. I'm pretty high on Aiyuk and never been a big Golladay guy.
Maybe after the draft this is more fair, if Edmunds doesn't get early competiton. Very few are buying Edmund as a starter right now.
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...
