Hey Everyone, I am undecided on what to do with one of my teams. Just looking for some ideas and thoughts on an offer i am kicking around.
League settings are 30 man in-season rosters - SF, Bestball 1.5 te premium everyone else ppr. 1 QB, 2 Rb, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 SF 2 Flex
Roster
Garoppolo, Ryan, Jones, Rosen, Brissett,
Barkley, Dobbins, Swift, Cohen, Evans, Jackson, Smith, R., Williams, T.
Lamb, Boyd, Samuel, T. Higgins, Edwards, Gallup, Mooney, Hurd, K. Johnson, Arcega-Whiteside, Mack, Reynolds, Boykin, Sims, Slayton,
Kittle, Howard, Knox, Arnold, Jarwin, Izzo, O'Shaughnessy, Rodgers, Smith,
Picks : 1.03, 1.11, 2.03, 2.11, 3.03, 3.06, 3.10, 3.11, 4.03
Yes plenty of trash on the team, 8 of them will be cut before 1st pick stays on roster.
One team is looking for RB and has his picks on trade bait. A thought was : Barkley, 2.11, 3.03 for 1.04, 1.07, 1.12 I am hesitant to give up Barkley for a bunch of picks. however it would give me 1.03, 1.04, 1.07, 1.12 I am guessing I would take 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR depending on how things go. But maybe I get 2 qb's and a rb with my first 3 picks. Thoughts???
Thank you all

Re: Potential Barkley Offer or ideas
Also as a little side note, this became a bit of my "send it team" What I mean is I have done some big trades here when I decided to tear down last year. I traded Adams, Gurley, Monty, H. Henery in big trade that I got swift, barkley, kittle in. Also traded lockett, and D. Henry before last season (doh). So I like to try to be more aggressive in trading in this league.
Re: Potential Barkley Offer or ideas
I think I would hold Barkley and explore the value is on high-variance WR like Marquise Brown, Hardman, Ruggs, etc. I fade those types of WR in regular lineups, but think are gold in BB. May be worth a shot if you can get any for picks 2.11 or later.
If you can get that deal for Barkley, you would be guaranteed 2 QB and a RB but those rookies may not help you much in 2021. Could be set up well in 2022 and beyond.

I would want a bit more for Barkley or a couple picks and a guaranteed or more well established asset in case the picks dont hit. Barkley is a buy low for most currently and I think his value and production rebound this upcoming season. Dont sell too low or too early.

Re: Potential Barkley Offer or ideas
This is a big reason why I haven't sent this offer. DLF's calc says I would gain value but, I typically like to get someone with a proven track record when I trade studs. The main reason I am considering it is, if I grab a young player that has shown something you then might get a late 1st. It is extremely risky but the 1.04 and 1.07 have a relatively high chance of hitting in this range, of course rookies still miss a lot. But if it works out you set your self up with a bunch of future value.Gator Sens wrote: ↑Sun Mar 28, 2021 10:04 pm I would want a bit more for Barkley or a couple picks and a guaranteed or more well established asset in case the picks dont hit.
