12 TM SF

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

12 TM SF

Postby Chiefs002 » Fri Mar 26, 2021 9:38 pm

Startup right after NFL draft. 12 team SF TEP .5. 20 rounds.
I have 1.10 trying to move up. 1.10+4.03 for 1.4 worth it?

I think that is worth it to lock up an elite QB1.

Personally I don’t like this move but I know that’s counter to a lot of people on here. You are starting at a huge disadvantage with no 4th and essentially entering a rebuild for a couple years barring getting lucky. Entering rebuild right away is certainly fine and a popular/proven successful dynasty strategy but personally if I’m going that route I want to be trading down and gaining assets not losing them. Best of luck and I’m interested in following along with how you build the team through the startup.

I could see going either way here, though this probably locks you in to going with as much young upside as possible through the entire draft. Losing an early startup 4th isn’t going to be a small thing in terms of trying to compete in the near term.

I’d rather be the guy with 2 4th round picks, but he will definitely not get Allen or Murray. Good luck

I think that’s a terrible trade, sorry. You got murdered on value IMO.
