CEH vs picks

Postby MyTeam » Sat Mar 20, 2021 7:06 am

What is the most you'd be willing to spend on CEH? I have pick 4, 5, 7, 15 and a pair of firsts for the next 2 years.

Would you move 7 and 15 for CEH?
Team 1: 12 team, PPR
1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1Flex

Mahomes, Lawrence
Najee, Swift, Javonte, Jamaal W, Murray
DK, DJM, Juju, Jameson, Gallup, Van
Pitts, Friermuth
1.01, 1.04, 1.11, 1.12, 3.10, 2 firsts next year

Team 2: 12 Team, SF TEP (1.5 PPR)
1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2Flex, 1 SF

Mahomes, Burrow, Cousins, Rudolph
CEH, Swift, Gibson, Jacobs, Mattison, Scott, McFarland
DK, AJB, Ridley, McLaurin, Kupp, Landry, Mims, Hamler, Miller, Johnson, Robinson
Andrews, H. Henry, Sternberger, Alie-Cox, Herndon

Same as Team 2
Watson, Burrow, Lance, Z. Wilson
Pollard, Mattison
Chase, D. Smith, Boyd, Hardman, E. Moore, Cephus, A. Rodgers, Harry, Boykin, A. Tate, Miller
Hockenson, Thomas, Albert O, Njoku
3 additional firsts

Same as Team 2
TLaw, Burrow, Watson, Darnold
CEH, Gus, Cohen
Juju, Chark, Shenault, Boyd, Landry, Renfrow, Robinson,
Engram, Kmet, Firkser, Schultz, Arnold, Herndon
5 additional firsts

Looks like this is your SF team, I would not move both picks for him. The 1.07 seems fair but that would be an otc move for me depending on who drops.

7 and 15 is fair. CEH would be a top RB in this class for me. I'd keep 4 and 5 as you're locked in for 2 of Wilson, Fields, Chase, Pitts, ETN or Harris. You could get your guys there and CEH at 7+15 would be a good draft.

Could start with future 1st + 15 and see but that's light

I think 1.07 is probably fair value, but it probably won't be enough. As polarizing as he is, he's tough to gauge value. The other owner likely used the 1.01 and either drinks the Kool Aid or doesn't want to admit they over drafted him.

I wouldn't move the picks before knowing landing spots. 1.07 in a SF is likely the last top 4 QB or a top 3 non-QB. Could leverage a good return for whomever is hot or dropping before/during your rookie draft.

I doubt many are bailing on CEH for less than the SF 1.05+. I’d rather have CEH over ETN. Harris is already 23.

7 and 15 seems okay. Maybe a tiny bit light. 1.05 seems reasonable too.

I think CEH's perceived value is lower than his actual value due to his rookie year. I'll ask this question to you, would you rather najee or CEH?

1.07 may not get it done. CEH owners are currently emboldened by KC cutting Damien.

I would sell for a top 5. I would consider the 7 and another first. If you can get him for the 7/15, I would do it.

I think I’d give 1.07/1.15 for him. I think 1.07 is close, just probably wouldn’t get it done.

I remember when CEH went from 1st-2nd round startup to top 5 startup after Damien opted out

Depends on how RBs are in your league. I recently bought CEH and I feel he’s bound to have a big year. He’s going to be on the field and they almost have to give him the ball. He was actually efficient with his touches last year and if you watch his highlight reel on YouTube as a rookie you will notice he had so many plays of 10+ yards running and receiving. And I can’t tell you how many times the play was blown dead before he was actually tackled to the ground. He’s a powerful player for his size. I saw some plays in that video that was just purely his athleticism and talent with footwork and agility. Not the fastest guy on the field but very quick initially. Explosive is the better term. I went out and bought CEH in 2/3 of my dynasty leagues. I liked what I saw. I wouldn’t trade him for Harris or etienne regardless of where they land. So there’s my two cents.

Start 1 QB 6 pt passing TD, 2 RBs, 3 WR, 1 flex, 1 TE.

I drafted CEH and feel like this guy. I think most people who drafted him, while disappointed because of the crazy high expectations, believe the odds are in his favor of being at least a RB1...with a chance to be an elite one (in regards to scoring).
I think KC looks back at last seasons tape, and realizes they should have run/thrown the ball more with CEH.
