I agree, I would have to flip him again. It is a very active trading league, but it seems like the majority are going for a rebuild at the moment so he may be harder to flip.

Noting that your league starts 14 players a week depth is really important! Seeing that you’re far from having being able to start 14 consistent producers I’d pass on that offer unless, as previous posters said, you can flip CMC for more. Being that I’d want multiple picks and/or young upside in a rebuild, I see this trade being counter productive to your goal.

If it were me, I'd accept that in a New York Minute (lightning) and would then shop CMC throughout the draft. Any contender will bend over backward for him, especially if they get an upgrade at QB. He will only be barely 25 years old when the season starts and should be able to pull a King's Ransom

The value is there, but with the starting req’s and the fact that the team is in rebuild, I’d only make this deal if you’re reasonably sure you can flip CMC for a better haul. Otherwise, keep 1.02/2.02 and get a few long term pieces to continue building with.

With a rebuilding team in a deep SF league, I'd want the two picks. If I thought my team had a good chance of contending, I might make the trade. But no way do I want to gamble that CMC will still be Super-CMC in 2023.

I think that's a great price for CMC, and agree that with your starting requirements and rebuild status making the deal only makes sense as a flip. If you can get more than you paid, obviously that will help your rebuild.

But I wonder. If this is being offered to you by the McCaffrey owner, do you think it's likely he's been in touch with other owner's to see what they'd pay? Maybe not, but this offer might be driven by feedback he's received in other negotiations. Kind of playing devil's advocate here. The price is great, but you don't want to be left holding CMC at the end of the day given where your team currently sits.
