In a Contract/salary league. Can franchise Wilson. Trying to decide what to do with him. What are peoples thoughts??

For the likely cost, I don't really see any downside. I'm a Niners fan and Wilson has been productive when given the opportunity. I don't know why he and Mostert were buried behind some JAGs (Breida, Morris, Coleman, McKinnon) for so long.
I think in 2021, Mostert/Wilson will be 1A/1B in a desirable situation. At worst, I see Wilson being the goal-line back and he was getting some run as the third down back as well, even when sharing the backfield with Mostert. I have Wilson, and Mostert, on both of my dynasty teams and think Wilson can be counted on as an RB3 with potential to seize the lead role through production or injury to Mostert.

Wilson shouldn't cost much, so I could see the point in hanging onto him. Especially since Mostert seems to get bitten by the injury bug fairly easily.

My one concern is that they may bring in someone to compete, and muddy the situation. Also, JaMycal Hasty is there too and he could work his way into the mix. I'm not sure I'm sold on either Wilson or Hasty, but as long as the 49'ers don't make a spash addition, one or the other of those guys should see work behind Mostert.

I’m not sold on Wilson necessarily, but he’s produced in the chances he’s gotten. The cost to see what ends up happening scenario-wise is likely very low with him, so I’d hold just based on the low opportunity cost.

I'm guessing some competition is brought in, but that's not to say Wilson Jr will not get touches and possibly lead the backfield. He has looked really good at times and certainly down the stretch last year. Based on cost and opportunity, I think he is worth the hold.

Upside here is worth more than the risk. I'd take a punt on Wilson.
