Am I dumb for not jumping on this? I think ADP and KTC's rankings say Chubb side, but I also think people may have overreacted to the Jacobs DUI news, plus Jacobs was only 2 PPG below Chubb this year and is 2 years younger.

Feels like a slight overpay due to the 1.05, but Chubb is the best asset here.

I think Chubb has the better overall RB talent, but I would lean toward Jacobs+1.05. At least for now, Jacobs has a stranglehold on RB and Chubb remains in a timeshare.

Chubb is the best piece in the deal, but I could see viewing the 1.05 as too much of a bridge, especially with the 2022 projecting mid-late.

There is no perfect answer here. It basically comes down to a simple question for yourself. Do you want the better RB or a good young RB with a for sure good pick. Without knowing the 2022 pick that’s how I would view it. Plus you get the 1.5 right now instead of waiting a year. I vote jacobs and 1.5. Chubb is the best piece. But to me it’s not the best side for the next 2-3 years.

I like Chubb over Jacobs, but you’re building a really nice young squad there. I think keeping the younger back and using the 1.05 keeps that build going. Also, I don’t think the gap between Jacobs and Chubb should be as expensive as the 1.05 that can be used now with only a random first coming back.

I'm also on the JJ side here too. That 1.05 is the money bag for me, and I wouldn't want to give it up in this type of deal. I traded Hunt for James Robinson back around week 5 because of the timeshare situation. I think I like Hunt talent more, but these 50/50 splits aren't conducive to scoring fantasy points on a consistent basis. I think the NFL draft will change the tiers a bit as well, boosting the 1.05 value even more.
