Adams/K. Hunt for 1.1+1.4

Got a text from the Adams owner saying hed deal Adams and mckissic for the 1.1 and 1.4. I said no, he said what about Hunt instead? The tam I am discussing is NOT the team in sig. It is a 10 team orphan 1QB PPR and it is the worst rsoter I have ever seen. Antonio Gibson, Deonte Johnson And Henry Ruggs anre the best 3 players on the roster. I have 1.1, 1.2 & 1.4. I need the picks and young players, but damn that is good value for Adams and Hunt. There are a few teams in this league that are sooo stacked I dont think it is worth it unles I could ensure a flip of both guys.

You cannot make that deal with that roster. You won't be able to flip Adams for better than what you are paying. And Hunt will net you a late 1st at best. Keep the picks and continue with a methodical rebuild.

Yep, he nailed it. I recently bought Hunt in a PPR dynasty where I own Chubb for the 1.11 and a part of me regrets making that trade. Not that Hunt isn't a damn good player in a PPR, but these late firsts are looking very intriguing right now. And I've learned you can't bank on flipping a player in your league...you hope to, but sometimes league mates can be dickholes.

Value wise, that is a great trade for Adams and Hunt IMO, but as stated above, you need to keep your picks given that those listed above are your best players.

1.1 is the most valuable piece imo, and especially so in a huge rebuild. You can't add to it if your rebuilding. Honestly wouldn't trade 1.1 alone for adams and hunt....there's gotta be a better deal out there with younger guys or picks

With the state that the team is in I would just keep the picks, despite the value. Adams is a very tough flip.

The value is fairly even, so it comes down to preference. I would do it if I thought I could flip Adams for more later. Adam’s could be used to obtain one or two good young players with a pick on top. Rookie picks are shots at production, but Adams and Hunt have shown it. You would have the 1.02 still, to add one of those top rookies. I’d ask for a 2nd to be thrown your way to tip the scale your way.

Adams is the best piece, but age his age hes not going to help you. The 1.01 and 1.04 combo gives you two quality shots at young players that can help for years.

Thanks for all the input. My feeling has been validated that I can't make this deal given the team makeup.

But....

I am surprised to see the valuation on Adams. If I had said what is Adams worth in picks I would suspect it would be multiple firsts with a requirement that at least one of them is a top pick, maybe not THE top pick, but I feel like the room is lower on Adams' value than I would have guessed. Guess I'll have to sniff around the Adams' owners value in leagues where I am competitive.
