Is it worth it to keep 1.01 this year?
I honestly may like Chase more than Harris, but there is depth to this top tier at WR. Thoughts on sending 1.01 away for a package of a RB and a mid first round pick?

Where does Harris rank relative to the top 5 RBs last year

Re: Is it worth it to keep 1.01 this year?
concencus seems to be Taylor, Swift, Dobbins, Akers, Harris/ CEH
There are lots of good receivers in the draft even down to the second round yeah. Lets see who drafts them all!

I'd wait for the draft, the pick should gain value closer to your draft. Did you have a rb in mind? Leagues size/settings would be helpful also

Re: Is it worth it to keep 1.01 this year?
This depends on what you would get back for moving the pick. If Chase is your 1.01, I don't think it's a stretch to just take him.
Re: Is it worth it to keep 1.01 this year?
If Harris goes to the Falcons or the Dolphins in the first round for example then I think people will view him as the clear 1.01 and maybe you can trade down a pick. But if Chase gets a smash spot. Dolphins? Then he will be right up there. Question is does the guy with the 1.02 need a RB or a receiver?
Re: Is it worth it to keep 1.01 this year?
I'm always open to moving back if the price is right and you arent moving out of a prospect tier. Currently, I see four prospects that could all be favored - Harris, Chase, Etienne, and Smith. I'd be comfortable taking any of them pre landing spot, but could see this list update after the NFL draft.
Right now I'd need a pretty good premium to drop below the 1.04 pick.

Re: Is it worth it to keep 1.01 this year?
Here is more context:
My league is pinned to the NFL Cap. I have 27 guys under contract, 6 picks (1.01, 2.02, 3.03, 3.04, 3.05, 4.09) and ~25mm in free cap heading into free agency. I won the the first championship last year. Contracts are for up to 4 years. I have no picks next year. Roster spots are capped at 10 for WR, RB, DE, and LB and 5 for all others. I have 3 openings at WR, and hope to pick up D. Johnson in the FA auction. That leaves 2 in the draft.
Starters: QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, 2FLEX, K, 2DE, DT, 2LB, CB, S, 2IDP
QB: J. Allen (1), J. Hurts (3)
RB: C. McCaffrey (3), C. Edwards-Helaire (3+1), AJ Dillon (3), Z. Moss(3)

DT: A. Donald (2)
LB: D. Leonard (2), B. Martinez (1), L. David (2), P. Queen (3), I. Simmons (3)

Etienne and Smith are both very overrated IMO. I would blackball both of then.

Re: Is it worth it to keep 1.01 this year?
Is say relative to the 2020 class, I’d have Harris and Akers close, so: Taylor, Swift, Dobbins, Akers, Harris, CEH.
As far as holding 1.01 goes, it all depends on where these guys land, how far you’d be dropping back, and what you’re getting in return. If Chase is your guy, I don’t see a problem with just taking him at 1.01, but if you are trying to tailor a trade where you move back and still get Chase, there are way too many unknown variables at this point to say how far you could drop, etc.

Re: Is it worth it to keep 1.01 this year?
I don't think there's a season in which this question doesn't come up. Keep an open mind, and compare the player you like at 1.01 with the offers you get for moving back. Simple as that...
Re: Is it worth it to keep 1.01 this year?
I have Chase as my 1.01 currently, so taking him there is fine. However, like others have said always hold the 1.01 until after you see landing spots
I am just a guy sharing some thoughts
