(UPDATE) OTC - Pick a 3rd QB?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Postby Prison_Mike » Sun Feb 14, 2021 10:15 am

On the Clock

12tm | Tiered PPR | SuperFlex (6pt pass TD)

Take a QB3 or keep building my RB/WRs?

Current roster:
Lamar, Russ, MT, OBJ, Sanders, Monty, Fant

Best available:
QB: Lock Winston, Jimmy G, Roethlisberger
RB: Conner, Moss
WR: Lockett, Mims

It's not a super fun pick, but I would grab Brady here. I'm guessing he plays for another 2 - 3 years and produces.

Take Brady, flip him in season for double the price of what this pick is worth.

Goff kupp or Lockett for me. Hard pass on the 2.04.
Nice discount on Goff, he’s the perfect qb3 for me, he’s certainly not shiny but he will be a starter somewhere for years to come, he’s a top 20ish qb still.

With the TD pass bump and SF, I’d take Brady and either ride him or trade him when he’s hot.

I took Kupp and gambled that one of Brady/Wentz/Goff would make it back to me
All 3 went right before my pick lol

Lockett is still there

I'm debating between Lockett, Conner, and Lock/Winston

Any thoughts?

Lockett pretty easily for me, pass on those qb options here. What rookie picks do you have?

I’d say you can likely get the rookie qb4 at 1.07, I’d be fine with that rather than reaching for the trash QBs available here. I’d wait and try and grab some guys like darnold/cam/etc who have seen their value plummet, or roethlisberger next round if you want to try and patch it up for a year or 2.

Someone grabbed Darnold at the start of this round

Agreed about the rookie pick

I might snag Ben or Jimmy G in the 10th

Winston should be on your radar, but he is no longer in your posts. He’s had eye surgery and will get a chance soon, even if it isn’t in NO.

Ben & Jimmy G went 3 picks before me

I took Winston at 10.06, then Gallup and Kirk in the 11th

Obviously very thin at RB & TE. But they were the best picks on the board. Wasn’t interested in the RBs (Conner, Mostert, Gurley, Singletary)
