DK Metcalf offer

Interesting turn of events ... DK Metcalf is being shopped and I've been offered him for Claypool and 1.06.

Now I can only keep five players so that doesn't work for me as I have to try and move a blue chip player already as is.
What if I offered either:

A) Claypool and Hopkins straight up for DK

or

B) Claypool, Hopkins and Kamara for DK and Jonathan Taylor

I would make the first deal. That is a great price to lock up Metcalf. The keepers make this tough, but Trades A and B are an overpay. I would then keep: Barkley, Kamara, Dobbins, Hill and Metcalf. Can you move Hopkins for multiple 1sts next year?

Is there anyway to get a pick back with offer A?

Then trade that pick plus Dobbins or Kamara for a higher pick or picks?

If it were me I’d want to end with:
Barkley / Kamara or Dobbins

Kittle
As many higher picks as you can get, or future picks. Use your excess value to create more value in the future. If you’re doing it right in a keeper like this, you have this issue only every year.

Well the real question is, can you sell Hopkins for a first?

I'm guessing the guy selling DK has 5 other players he's keeping over DK so trying to send him hopkins likely does nothing.

That’s what I’d be attempting too do. With my team in my sig it’s an 11 player keeper. I’m always looking to have extra equity to either upgrade players if I can, or get draft picks that will help replenish the bench. There should be decent players in the pool since you guys only keep 5. The pool dries up quick when you’re keeping 11 in a 20 team league.

How do picks work in this type of league? If you can all only keep 5 players each year, are rookies lumped in with the available veterans in 1 big draft, or is there a separate rookie draft?

I'd be leaning this way as well. Make this deal and I'd be willing to make that Kamara deal. Keep Barkley, Dobbins, Hill, Metcalf, and Kittle.
