I don't think you made a bad offer. That 2nd is a huge pick upgrade. Gibson is my top buy this offseason at his position. You'd be selling a bit low imo.... But better a yr early than late.

I guess I'm the contrarian here. I think this is closer than many think. Zeke is already past the age apex, and his sky high value is only on the downside of the curve at this point. Not saying Zeke is washed by any means, I think he will actually have a bounce back year, but Gibson is looking like the real deal and WFT seems to have confidence in him being the primary RB moving forward. Not to mention you'd get the 2.03 which opens up other decent rookie options in SF like Wilson or Jones, or possibly Waddle or Moore.

I don't think it's crazy at all for considering a trade like this. But that's just me...

You know it's one of those interesting trades where it's definitely not crazy to consider because of everything you said. It is very possible Zeke continues to decline, and Gibson ascends. That being said, I still think it's a bad trade because the current valuations of these players shouldn't be that close. So, if OP is scared about Zeke and wants to sell him, he for sure should be able to get more value from someone else in the league.
