Trade away Aaron Jones for CEH+Tonyan

Got offered CEH and Tonyan for my Aaron Jones!

I'm not a huge CEH believer, but with Jones' current uncertainty, it's not a bad return for him. Tonyan doesn't do much for me unless this is TE prem. Ideally, I would want to know where Jones ends up before moving him, but if you're looking to get young and still get an RB back, I think this is the best you could hope for right now.

I think the value is there due to age. CEH should produce longer in theory than Jones. Jones is a much better player but you are gaining a lot of years. I would reluctantly accept.

I like it (tho I’m still a big CEH believer). There is little, if any, gap between Jones and CEH so Tonyan is mostly free.

Lol, what?? Maybe in a couple years, maybe never. This is a terrible trade, especially for a competitive team, regardless of AJ’s situation

Kelsey lucked into an Andy Reid offense. His talent was enough to produce a top3 fantasy TE.
Mahomes lucked into an Andy Reid offense. His talent was enough to produce a top3 QB.
Hill lucked into an Andy Reid offense. His talent was enough to produce a top5 WR.
CEH lucked into an Andy Reid offense where the starting RB opted out for the year and a starting job was practically handed to him. His talent was not enough to hold onto the starting job, not enough to prevent the team picking up a declining veteran to compete for the job mid-season, and not enough to keep him on the field.

I'm not saying you should or should not hold onto Aaron J. But if you want to trade him, I'd want a better return than CEH.

He’s gonna get starter money and starter touches somewhere, most likely bell cow. Worst case he stays put, and GB clearly knows how to utilize his skill

Agreed.
AaronJ is going to end up somewhere like Houston or NYJ or NE. Heck, I could even see him ending up in KC. Imagine that next year!

In DLF’s January ADP, CEH is RB11 while Jones is RB15. And CEH is 5 years younger. Throw in the TE8 and this is far from a terrible trade.

I’d need a more interesting second piece than Tonyan. I know Rodgers likes him, but that is no guarantee he’s a perennial TE1.
