Grade this trade - AJB or Godwin side

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Grade this trade - AJB or Godwin side

Postby Indyfan1985 » Sat Jan 30, 2021 9:33 pm

In my 8 team league. I dealt away Chris Godwin, my 2021 2nd (13th overall), and 5th round pick.

In return I got AJ Brown and his 2021 3rd (17th overall pick).

How’d I fair in this deal?

I personally like AJB better, so I don’t think giving up 4 draft positions on top of Godwin is bad to get him. The 5th is pretty inconsequential.

Fair trade overall and comes down to preference. Godwin was hurt most of the year (even when he played) and is easily a top 10 wr for me. Brown is also a top 10.

Brown for me, I'm very bullish on him and Godwin as an FA adds some unknown

Preference here. If you like AJB better I don’t mind moving back. Being an 8 teamer it’s not like you moved back that far.

And even if Godwin is resigned in Tampa, there are too many mouths to feed there and I still consider Evans as the best WR on that team.

I like AJB as well to Godwin so I like the move with only losing 5 spots in the draft.

I like AJB side. He's ridiculous. Both are good, but I like the move for you.
