Josh Allen value

Postby NY CAT » Wed Jan 27, 2021 3:12 pm

What is his value in 1 QB league?
I'm considering trading him to help bolster roster.
Roster is
D. Jones and S. Darnold
Jk Dobbins, S. Barkley, R. Penny, J. Mckinnon, L. Perine, DeeJay Dallas and Lynn Bowden
Q. Cephus, G. Davis. M. Hardman, A. Isabella. V. Jefferson, D.Johnson, A. Miller. D. People-Jones, D. Slayton and MVS

G. Everett, C. Herndon and D. Knox.

Thanks for comments in advance.

If passing TD's are worth 6 points, I'm guessing a late 1st will be needed even in a 1 QB league. This offseason will be buying at a top price. Each league is different, but I'm guessing he will be very pricey based on age and the season he just had.

In 4pt TD, I think he’d go for a late 1st. Bump it up to an early-mid for 6pt TDs.

That roster is rough, even if it was a 16-team league. I would look at a possible tear-down. Your two other best players are RBs who may not be in their prime when this roster is ready to compete. I’d hold Allen, to keep QB locked down for what looks like years, and sell Saquon during the season when his value rebounds. I would also entertain offers for Dobbins then, despite how much I like him. Looking for early picks and top WR prospects. I like G. Davis, but I would try to sell MVS and even Hardman the same way.

Good luck.

Somewhere between 1.08-1.12 for me. But you'll probably have to add to that if you're serious about getting a deal done.

Also, with your build I wouldn't be worried about the QB position right now, as I don't imagine you'll be competitive. In 1QB, that position is one of the last ones I'd be concerned with in a rebuild.

I agree 1.08 sounds like the median market value.

I think he just had a career year and is sort of a sell high, though hes still a great option going forward.
