I think Kamara will still be a good asset post-Brees, it isn't a matter of Kamara's talent, nor do I think he falls off a cliff due to age. The biggest issue I had with Kamara while Brees was out was Kamara's high value touches. He went from averaging 9.5 high value touches per game, to just 3 with Hill. That is a huge hit to production when you are getting 6.5 fewer touches inside the 10. It was also a piece of the game plan that wasn't a necessary change, but the Saints went 3-1 anyways. Brees' effect on Kamara also wasn't just about feeding him receptions, but that Brees was so accurate in getting the ball to Kamara and in a manner that gave Kamara room to operate after the catch. Brees didn't just dump the ball off behind the line with S and LB bearing down on the RB.

I think Team A is actually assuming risk in this deal, which is unusual in trades like this. I also think Akers and Aiyuk look like the real deal. I prefer Team B's return here currently.

Nice return if you are worried about Kamara and looking to cash out. Two solid young assets and a 1st. I think Kamara stays elite, but I understand selling RBs early versus too late if you are trying to move on.

I'm jumping on that deal. Next year at this time you'll need to add to Kamara just to get Akers.

Really solid return in 12tm league. I like Kamara a lot, but depth is huge in all of my 12tm leagues.

Im taking the Depth. If Ayiuk played all season he'd be talked about with the Likes of JJ. Hopefully a new QB is on the horizon there as well. Nice return
