A. Rob and Tonyan for DJ Chark, Hunter Henry and 1.12

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

A. Rob and Tonyan for DJ Chark, Hunter Henry and 1.12

Postby Pearl3790 » Mon Jan 25, 2021 8:08 pm

Side A: Allen Robinson and Robert Tonyan
Side B: DJ Chark, Hunter Henry, and 1.12

My team is competitive, but I think I can take the hit from downgrading A rob, upgrading my TE and getting a 3rd first round pick. There are so many unknowns with A rob and HH being FA's, Tonyan being a RFA and Aaron Rodgers talking about leaving GB? Will DJ Chark be incredible with Trevor Lawerence? Will Urban focus on a run heavy scheme?

The offer is there now... What would you do?

Team is in my signature.

I think Robinson is the best piece and could be a beast in the right system. It's a gamble where he lands as you mentioned, but I would hold. I think Tonyan and Henry are both average week to week though.

Of the various unknowns involved, Robinson is the one I would feel the most secure with. He has produced with terrible QBs his whole career and is still the best piece here, any situational upgrade makes him just that much more so. I would hold Robinson/Tonyan.

If part of the purpose is TE upgrade, are we sure this does it? I’ve been a Henry fan for years, but something always holds him back from being elite. Rodgers and Tonyan built a connection over the season, and I don’t think the TE scoring was much different on a per game basis. I get adding a 1st (although late), but I would have to be pretty sure Chark would shine with Lawrence before I give up ARob for him and a late 1st.

All. Great points. Also worried that Jacksonville goes and signs a FA wide receiver. Hell maybe even A rob. He has history with the Jags. That would be a complete nightmare if this trade went through and A rob signed with them.
