Wondering what everyone values Mike Davis at currently. Obviously he'll go back to being a backup with CMC coming back next year and he's 27-28 which hurts in Dynasty.
I've been offered Davis for the 3.01 for Team 2 in my sig. Not sure what kind of rookie I can get at 30th in the draft so that seems like decent value to me for a backup that produced when he got the chance.

Pick 3.01 is actually 21st overall, so not quite so bad. I honestly wouldn't invest even this pick in Davis unless you have CMC and can benefit from the handcuff.

I don't understand the argument that the player only has value to the owner of CMC. Value is value, and if Davis has more value than the 21st pick overall, that is the answer. Furthermore, in 2 RB leagues (sig league) it can be difficult to get RBs who'll get volume, and I've seen people chasing handcuffs for their potential for volume.
Additionally, we don't know what the opportunity to flip Davis might be. It could be possible to turn around a week or month or three months later to package him into an upgrade- say, Hooper and Davis for Waller. The CMC owner could see that as an acceptable TE value downgrade, especially if Hooper takes over as the #2 if OBJ is gone. But, they might not see enough appeal in Hooper plus 3.1 for Waller offer.
In a rebuild, I focus on value, including potential re-sale value. I could see Davis having more value in the future, depending on league dynamics.

His age and the way he faded a little down the stretch makes me feel that pick could be used in a package for a different player. Your league mate is trying to get whatever he can for a low-value asset. I pulled off the 2.10 for Alex Collins when he had some run with BAL two(?) years ago doing the same thing. He was decent, but not special.
