21 1.04 and 1.10 for CEH

Postby Panthers357 » Fri Jan 15, 2021 9:23 am

Team 1 in my signature and I tried to offer guy that has CEH my 2021 1.04 and 2.03 but he said he needs my 1.04 and 1.10 to make the deal. Thoughts? In another post where a guy said he was offered 1.05 for James Robinson I said I thought about offering 1.04 or 1.06 for Robinson in my league. A guy responded in that post feed and said not to trade for backs in the off season as the teams could draft more rbs especially in Robinson’s case. What are you guys thoughts about trading for rbs in the offseason. Would any of these trades make any sense for my team or am I better off trying to get Devonta smith at 1.04 and hoping javonte Williams and guys like gainwell are available for me later. I Have a lot of picks to work with in 2021, but will also have to make some serious drops if I don’t consolidate a few with trades.

I would not move two 1sts for CEH personally. I dont think he is worth that. I think you could grab a back in the draft or wait to see how the draft and offseason shakes out.

i'm not the biggest fan of CEH and i would lean picks, but with your shallow starting requirements and RB depth it probably makes sense.
but i'd look for something better if you're giving up two 1sts, or sell a WR for RB and use those picks in a(nother) pretty deep WR class

I would keep the picks here. If you are willing to bundle the picks to get an RB, I would wait until after the NFL draft to see if it looks like Harris and Etienne look locked into 1.01-1.02, then try to bundle to move up for one of them. I had Etienne well above, and Harris on level ground with, CEH as prospects last year. Etienne's numbers weren't outstanding this year but not much happened to lower his prospect rating for me and Harris significantly increased his prospect rating this year. I know it's not a lock to be able to move up if needed, but I would hold for now and take that chance later.

CEH pretty comfortably for me

Not high on this class at all and no RB is at the level of last year's top 5 save maybe Najee in a great situation

I like CEH but still picks. 1.04 should be Harris, Etienne, Chase or Smith imo. 1.10 should be best QB available. Your QB's are uninspiring and easily your weak spot. BPA after, you have a lot of meh in the middle to back of you roster. I would accept McFarland and Snell aren't going to be the guy in Pitt and see if someone will pay for them. It just seems like they learned this year they need to get a stud akin to Bell to make that offense work how they want it to.

Guys in the league are saying Lawrence won’t make it past 6 even though this is a 1 QB league. It might just be a mind trick against me lol. But do I wait and see if he makes it to 1.08 where I have 1.08-1.10 consecutively to pick? And if he’s not there just take fields?

What’s a good return for snell and McFarland an early third or if I can get it late second?

Fields or Wilson is fine. You are taking a shot here no need to reach up and make a move you need the picks. I would go for a late 2. Some people may balk at letting them go but I think a 2 serves you well and you can take some shots at upside players that may slip to you. You may try to consolidate picks up and move your WR's From Gallup to Lazard if anyone is buying. You have a ton of young WR's which is good except you are gonna choke on potential waiting for them all to develop.

You may look for a better gamble for RB's Penny/Carson or an owner tired of Mixon. Maybe Lazard for Himes. You don't have to get JT or CMC just a solid 3rd RB option. Lets you feel more confident on just drafting your best player on the board regardless of perceived need.
