Help with QB for WR deal

In my 8 team 2QB league, I am struggling to find my longterm QB2. I have Deshaun Watson, but after him I have Derek Carr and Carson Wentz as my only real assets.

I have Courtland Sutton who I really have not much use for going forward, especially since I already have Jerry Jeudy and a loaded WR core.

That being said, what would need to be added to Baker Mayfield if I dealt Courtland Sutton for him? Or is it pretty even straight up? (This is a new league that values QBs pretty high, even with it being only an 8 team league)

As much as we like Sutton, Mayfield might be more valuable in a 8 team start 2 qb league. In fact, if I was the Mayfield owner, I'd probably ask for Sutton and a TE because of the start 2 te rule.

I think you might do well to get a straight up deal.

I would ask the Mayfield owner what is needed on top or what the price is. The issue is, the rest of your league knows you need another QB too which could raise the price.

If you can get Mayfield straight up for Sutton that would be a nice win, given the starting req’s.

Nothing would be needed on top of Mayfield he would be trading me Baker straight up for Sutton.

My question was should I be asking for anything more on top of Baker? Like a 3rd round pick for example?

if I was the Baker Owner you would have to add to Sutton for me to give Baker.....and something significant.... looking at your roster I would ask for two of Lamb, Juedy, Johnson, dobbins or Gibson......otherwise I would hold.
