Herbert in 1QB League (Poll)

What is Herbert's value in a start one QB league with 6 point TD's? He threw 31 TD's and rushed for 5 TD's in his rookie year.

In my league we have had QB's go in round one of the rookie draft - most recently Kyler Murray and Joe Burrow. Trevor Lawrence will be a top 8 pick in 2021.

How many teams in the league? 10 team or less, I’m not paying a 1st. 12 Teamer and maybe a late 1st depending on how your league values QBs.

If QBs go in round 1 in your drafts he’s for sure worth a 1st.

It is a ten team league that way overvalues QB and draft picks haha. I just think having a stud QB for 10-15 years is easily worth a first.

I think he’d be worth a mid-late 1st given the 6 pt TDs and if your league overvalued QBs. That’s one thing that often goes unsaid. We can speak in terms of market values based on league size, scoring, etc. But there will always be intangible league dynamics that play into values. Any player is only worth his value to your team (if holding or acquiring) and what someone in your league will give up (if selling).

Done deal! I traded Russell Wilson for the 2021 2.03 which is pick 13. I think I lost some value here but Russell has negatively affected my championship aspirations the past two seasons with his end of season declines and I am happy to move on. I traded a 2022 1st and Miles Gaskin for Herbert and a 2022 3rd. The Herbert owner has Lamar Jackson so I feel he was extremely reasonable with this deal and the trade benefitted both teams.
