Big offer

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Big offer

Postby YourAverageFan » Thu Jan 07, 2021 8:27 pm

12 team SF league and I am looking to completely rebuild. Thinking of making this offer... looking for thoughts on this.

Give: Barkley, Evans, OBJ.

Receive: DK, 1.2, 2022 1st (projected mid-late)

My team has M Ryan, wentz, Newton, at QB. Barkley, Moss, P Lindsay at RB. Evans, OBJ, Hollywood, Jeudy, Green at WR and Goedert at TE. Also 1.4 and 1.5.

If rejected is there another way to go for 1.2 and/or DK. 1.2 being my highest priority for a QB building block
Team 1 12 team .5ppr QB/2RB/2WR/TE/FL
Wilson, Cousins, Lawrence
Barkley, Montgomery, Roschon Johnson, K. Miller, Herbert, R. White, C. Brown

Andrews, Goedert

Team 2 12 Team SF .5ppr QB/2RB/3WR/TE/SF
Dak, Watson, Ryan, Z Wilson, Rush, Heinicke
Bijan, Dobbins, Pierce, Lindsay, Moss, Gibbs

I dont think without sending a QB back in the deal this gets done as constructed. There could be an outside chance since the 1.02 will not be Lawrence. It's worth putting out there to gauge the value also.

I would think this would be a bit light to be accepted, but it’s not a bad offer. I would definitely offer and see if this gets it done or at least see how close it is and go from there. That’s a great deal to build from if it gets done!

I think it's a solid offer. You'd get younger everywhere and you are giving up highly-valued assets to land this deal. Seems fair to me. DK and Barkley are close, but Barkley probably goes before DK in a startup next offseason. 1.02 won't be Trevor and Evans is playing at a high level so I think it favors the 1.02 side (Fields or whomever is QB2) but not by an overwhelming margin. A late 1st for OBJ might be a bit rich.

I would also do Barkley/Evans for DK/1.02 as an option. If he is close to winning a title, I could see him making this move.
