My Barkley Trade Offers.. Grades ??

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

My Barkley Trade Offers.. Grades ??

Postby Gatorguy7275 » Fri Jan 01, 2021 10:45 am

I just made these 3 alternative offers. It's likely that no trade will happen if at all, until after the draft, but I'd appreciate grades or other feedback. Of course, I expect negotiation, even with interest. I also expect he'll be reluctant to part with Swift. Are these offers fair value?

(1) ME: SB + 1.04, + Deebo or Parker + Hardman HIM: Swift + Godwin or Ridley + 1.07 + 2.09;

(2) ME: SB + 1.02 + Deebo + Hardman + 3.02 HIM: AJB + Swift + 1.07 + 2.09 ;

(3) ME: SB + 1.02 + Deebo + Hardman + 3.02 + 2022 (prob early) 2nd HIM: DKM + Swift + 1.07 + 2.09.

Thanks, & be safe out there.
10 team, 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex, DST, K, 0.5 PPR.

QB: L Jackson, Purdy
RB: J Taylor, A Gibson, B Hall, McKinnon, K Hunt, J McLaughlin
WR: Addison, Aiyuk, Boyd, Chase, Dell, Gallup, Godwin, E Moore, Shaheed

#3 is a good deal if you can get it done. Lots of moving pieces here. Do you still view Barkley as a top 10 producing RB for years to come?

With SB, I'm thinking about his recovery from ACL injury, his injury history & the dysfunctional NYG offense. It might be better for me to wait & see how he recovers; I do think I could be accused of selling low. My intention is to rebuild & DS is a little younger.

If I'm the Swift owner, the one that interests me the most is the second one. I don't see him parting with Metcalf as a 2nd piece in this deal. If you can score Ridley, I'd focus on that.

Good luck!

Out of the three I think #2 is your best shot but it's the one I like the least. You have to be confident that Swift will be a top rb for a couple years and you hit with that 1.07 otherwise I feel you lose that trade.
Team 1:
PPR--QB, RBx2, WRx3, TE, Superflex, Flex x2
QBs: Lawrence, Stafford, Geno, Hooker, Rush
RBs: Ekeler, Kamara, Achane, Elijah Mitchell, Dillon, Kelley, Moss, Jamaal Williams
WRs: Adams, Hopkins, Waddle, Kirk, JSN, Boyd, OBJ, Hyatt
TEs: Kelce, Hockenson, Taysom, Irv Smith

and then a few minor players and rookie stashed on taxi

Thanks for the comments. I'm now leaning toward standing pat & using my 1.02, 1.04 & 1.10 picks on BPA. I will probably go RB @ 1.02 & WR @ 1.04 & BPA, regardless of position, @ 1.10.

(2) ME: SB + 1.02 + Deebo + Hardman + 3.02 HIM: AJB + Swift + 1.07 + 2.09

I would do options 2 if could pull it off, as then it gives you a true young WR1 also.... If you did not want to part with your 1.02 pick then option 1 and give Parker and receive Godwin....

I don't see the other person doing Option 3
