Allen Robinson Trade

Postby colt77 » Wed Dec 30, 2020 10:21 pm

Hey guys, wanted to get your thoughts on trading Robinson or not. Only reason i'm thinking about trading him is because I have a ton of WRs. My main guys being Hill, MT, Robinson, Higgins, Kupp, Hollywood, and Sutton. Also in this draft I own the 4th, 7th, and 8th picks. My current and best offer for Robinson rn would be Robinson and Pollard for the 6th and 16th pick in this upcoming draft. Is this good value considering my abundance of WRs or am I underselling him for too much? My entire team is in the footer. Any advice would be great!

Despite your wr depth, I would hold Robinson over the current best offer. I would consider moving him if you get better offers as the offseason moves along though. It's all about the return for any asset.

Pass. Robinson is incredibly undervalued. This is two years in a row that he has produced at an exceptional level with terrible QB play. You will never get proper value for him as he is just not valued highly by most. I would hold here and ride out the wave. Plus, if Allen does walk, it would be pretty difficult for him to go a worse situation than he is in now. At the 1.06, you are basically drafting a player that you would hope turns into a Robinson type player.

Yea, I'll likely hold. I really wanted to move him but everyone is throwing out lowball offers. I had to basically fight this guy for even throwing down his 6th pick.

That's true. I thought I could control the draft with 6th 7th and 8th but looking at it, Robinson really is just undervalued. I wanted to cash out on him, but no one is throwing out anything close to the value he brings.

I'd hold Robinson. His value is weird because he hasn't ever had a QB but continues to have good seasons. I think he would be worth more than a mid first.

I wouldn't be looking to trade him at all personally.

I don't think that's good value either.

There's a good chance he sees a bump in value with an almost guaranteed upgrade coming at QB.

Wouldn’t trade Arob for the 1st pick or pollard for the other pick.

With your starting reqs, I would look to consolidate instead of going for more picks. You have Jackson at QB and Kittle at TE, so you only worry about bye weeks and possible injury or matchup replacement weeks presently. You have Goff and Goedert for that. That means you’re looking to fill 5 starting spots from your current roster. Barkley, Swift, Thomas, Hill, and Robinson do that more than capably, and you have Akers, Higgins, and Sutton waiting to fill in (as long as that’s Tee).

I’d look for a WR needy team that has a few RBs and see if a package of Kupp, Sutton or Higgins, and your 1.07 or 1.08 could land a top 5 RB (or WR for that matter).
