Pre-offseason WW pickups

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Pre-offseason WW pickups

Postby JJRules » Tue Dec 29, 2020 2:11 pm

10-team, non-PPR with shallow, 16-player rosters. Team in sig.

There are a LOT of good names available. I'm looking to possibly drop Penny for one of these guys, but not sure how to properly rank them or even if it's not just better to hold onto Penny to see what happens with Carson.

Shenault
Mims
Vaughn
Agholor
Mack
Damien Williams
Gallup
Preston Williams
Bowden
Reagor
DPJ

I'm not opposed to dropping one of Goedert or Tonyan as well if multiple guys here are upgrade stashes.

Would really appreciate some thoughts here if anybody has the time or inclination.

Mims/Gallup - depending on if he moves on from Dallas
Shenault
Reagor

Those four would be my top adds depending on who you like the most. I would also look to move Tonyan for a pick to free up a roster spot to add two from your list.

Mims/Shenault/Penny all same tier for me, though Penny is the biggest risk in that tier.

Could also consider moving one of your TE's if you'd rather keep Penny plus one of those WRs.

I also think Dillon's overrated.

With that team/league, I'm keeping Dillon, cutting Higgins and pursuing a Tonyan trade. Penny's tough, but I see the logic of cutting.

Those're some interesting waiver options. I see WR depth issues for that team, but the fact good production is available lessens the urgency.

Shenault, Mims, Agholor, Mack, Gallup all are interesting. It's like Christmas, lol. At this stage of the year, for this team/league, I'm adding Shenault and Mims for Higgins and Penny, purely for the upside. If they were drafted, it'd strengthen the possibility you'd be able to flip.
