Mark Andrews or Sutton, Reagor

Postby OhSnapItsAnt » Fri Dec 18, 2020 1:00 pm

Team 1 in sig

So the guy in first place currently, is trying to acquire Andrews from me, his TE is Evan Engram.

Would you take Sutton, Reagor for Andrews?

I likely would lean Sutton side regardless but in your deep format I would definitely go Sutton/Reagor.

I'm easily taking the WRs if this isn't TE premium.
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

I would take the WR's. Andrews has some solid games, but he is not in the untouchable TE group for me.

I'll go Sutton. He had a bad break this year but is a significant talent in my eyes. Reagor is interesting although hasn't really done anything yet. Andrews fizzled a little this year for me. Zero chance I would have done this last offseason, but my perspective has changed somewhat. Andrews is good but not consistent enough to be untouchable.

Really like Sutton, not a big Reagor fan. I'd take Andrews for positional scarcity
Team 1: 12 team, PPR
1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1Flex

Mahomes, Lawrence
Najee, Swift, Javonte, Jamaal W, Murray
DK, DJM, Juju, Jameson, Gallup, Van
Pitts, Friermuth
1.01, 1.04, 1.11, 1.12, 3.10, 2 firsts next year

Team 2: 12 Team, SF TEP (1.5 PPR)
1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2Flex, 1 SF

Mahomes, Burrow, Cousins, Rudolph
CEH, Swift, Gibson, Jacobs, Mattison, Scott, McFarland
DK, AJB, Ridley, McLaurin, Kupp, Landry, Mims, Hamler, Miller, Johnson, Robinson
Andrews, H. Henry, Sternberger, Alie-Cox, Herndon

Same as Team 2
Watson, Burrow, Lance, Z. Wilson
Pollard, Mattison
Chase, D. Smith, Boyd, Hardman, E. Moore, Cephus, A. Rodgers, Harry, Boykin, A. Tate, Miller
Hockenson, Thomas, Albert O, Njoku
3 additional firsts

Same as Team 2
TLaw, Burrow, Watson, Darnold
CEH, Gus, Cohen
Juju, Chark, Shenault, Boyd, Landry, Renfrow, Robinson,
Engram, Kmet, Firkser, Schultz, Arnold, Herndon
5 additional firsts

I’d take Sutton side since you have Kittle. Ask him/her to add a low TE too 🀣

Andrews is a top 10 TE (2019 and 2020). Reagor has not inspired me, and Sutton is coming off a major injury (and is not a top 20 WR).

This is an easy, automatic pass for me.

It isn't particularly difficult to be a top 10 TE. Logan Thomas and Eric Ebron are top 10 TEs. That position sucks

Also doubt an ACL counts as a "major injury" in 2020--maybe in 1963 but I can't think of any player who was majorly hampered long term by an ACL tear in modern times

Fine, Andrews side - don't want an Eagles or Broncos pass catcher.

That's definitely more fair

Though I would say one of the main reasons the Ravens passing offense is so unappealing fantasy wise is that the QB and overall offensive mindset aren't changing for quite some time since the team is doing well

The Broncos are most definitely making major changes with a high ceiling of improvement--whether it's Elway pulling Stafford from Detroit or moving up for a Trey Lance or Zach Wilson who pans out (all way better than the Flacco/Brandon Allen/Lock carousel of last season that Sutton had a top 20 season with)

Eagles are admittedly murkier--it's difficult for me to see them becoming a good fantasy passing offense barring Hurts taking a massive step forward as a passer or Wentz recovering big time
