Better TE stash?

Postby Jcedwards » Tue Dec 15, 2020 1:55 pm

Njoku or Jarwin?

May try to get both before rosters lock for the end of the season, but who would you rather have if you could only stash one?

I would gamble on Jarwin at this point.

Ceiling - Njoku
Floor - Jarwin

I still kind of like Njoku even though he hasn't done much lately. Maybe I'm still holding on to 2018...

I was one that drafted Njoku in the 1st round. I held on for so long and finally dropped him at one point this season. But if he moves on in the offseason, which looks likely, his value can shoot right back up.

Based on pure athleticism, you have to like Njoku's potential. He reminds me a bit of Eric Ebron -- Ebron was an athletic 1st rounder who underwhelmed for his 4 years in Detroit, but then blew up for 13 TDs when he signed with Indy.
We may see a similar path with Njoku assuming he moves on from Cleveland and lands in a TE friendly offense.

Total dart throw but give me Jarwin as Njoku has had plenty of chances and repeatedly underwhelmed.

I didn’t know what way it would go, but I didn’t expect it to be split basically right down the middle.

I’d take Jarwin. Before Dak got hurt, he was targeting TE’s a good amount and I think Jarwin will be the Cowboys TE1 next year. Remember how many points that offense was scoring with Dak and a healthy OL.

I'm going situation over talent and grabbing Jarwin. Njoku is a better talent but he needs to get out of Cleveland, get a deal he's happy with somewhere, hope to get volume, actually make catches consistently... just a lot of variables. I feel like Jarwin just needs to beat out Schultz which may not be easy but, if he does, he could be a really nice option as he was early this season.

Safe play here is Jarwin. Bigger upside is Njoku, but a lot depends on where he lands after this season. I'll take Njoku and the potential there.

I guess I am of the opinion that if you haven't flashed after 4 years in the league, saying a player has upside seems questionable. Give me Jarwin

Probably need to go back and check out the stats. Njokus 2nd season was very close to being equal to Austin hoopers career year lol 55 receptions, 650 yards and 4 TDs on a terrible browns offense. I’d say that’s a flash. Hooper sucks so bad I have no idea why they gave him big money. He’s never really proven he can consistently produce. But yea njoku can def become a startable TE. But like everyone has stated...He’s gotta get outta Cleveland.
