Trade Ideas for 16 Team League

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trade Ideas for 16 Team League

Postby Z$$$ » Fri Dec 04, 2020 4:20 pm

Team 3 in sig.

Just spitballing. Would either of these make sense?

Give: Godwin
Get: McLaurin & D Harris

Or

Give: DJM
Get: Gibson & 2021 1st (10-13 range)

It may be just me wanting to switch things up a bit. I’ve found myself at 7-5 and just in the playoffs. After starting off slow I got in the mindset of picking early next year then somehow I went on a winning streak.

Thanks!

If you can get the1st trade, I like it.

I think the Moore trade is closer based on value. The first deal is okay, but I would want to see more from Harris before making that deal, but I guess this depends on how you view Godwin too.

First glance I didn't like the first trade. I've never been high on McLaurin and think Godwin is great. But the more I'm looking at it, the more I think I'd rather the McLaurin side. I think if you make this move now, it's a good investment. Washington should be getting a new QB in there and any new QB will result in a bump to McLaurins value. Harris is being productive, and while I don't think he can really improve his value, I think he's a decent and startable rb.

Godwin is a little more of a question mark. He's a free agent after this year so he could walk to another team (who knows what this does to his value) or he stays in TB for atleast one more year with Brady. I think Godwin has the best chance to be the #1 WR in TB, but it's still crowded and that offense is not the same offense with Brady as it was with Winston. I think the only way he really increases in value is if he goes somewhere else with a good qb and I think that's less likely than Football Team getting in a new QB.

Second trade is an easy pass for me. I know everyone likes Gibson. He has been good this year. He also benefitted from the top two RBs being jettisoned prior to the start of the season.
