Cook for DK

Thoughts on this? First thought is instant no but I have WR depth. For some reason I still feel like Cook side needs to add.

I would hold Metcalf over Cook. I prefer to build around wr's though.

I'm glad I'm not going insane thinking it was an easy no. In my mind he puts up RB numbers with a longer career.

I think if you arent competing this year (legit champ contender) you keep DK. If you are a legit champ contender and you need the RB I think it's a pretty even trade.

For team #2 in signature I own both, but I'm depending on cook a lot more due to team construction.

I've taken my fair share of hits this season. Right now I'm limping into the playoffs but am locked. Losing Will Fuller hurt a lot more than I thought it would. Sam Darnold playing like bleep and Matty Ice suddenly unable to throw TDs has also hurt.

I've been getting carried by my horses which DK is the main cog of. Cooks injury history scares me along with 20+ carrier per game.

Honestly I don't believe I'll win this year even with Cooks but you never know.

If you don't think you can win the championship this year (or have significant doubts) keep DK. In a 2021 startup draft I won't be surprised to see cook go ahead of DK, but I have a feeling in 2022 it's going to be DK ahead of cook.

The reason I use the legit champ contender line now is that during this part of the season you can see who is going to make the playoffs, and you can see who will perform better in the playoffs assuming no injuries. There are only 4 weeks left. If you aren't winning the championship you have to consider next year as a higher priority than this year.

You would hate that trade a year from now.

DK easy here. Cook has the injury concerns and seems to come up lame every week. Plus owning DK is just FUN.

Thank you for the feedback. I rejected the trade.

What does everyone think about AJB or Godwin and Reagor for Cooks?

I have AJB and DK ranked similarly. (I'm also assuming you mean cook not cooks). Honestly the way I look at it, if you can't win the champ with cook, I don't want to trade away players that could improve their value more than cook can in the off-season. Godwin is a free agent, while I don't think it's likely that he moves on from TB, it's certainly possible. If he goes to a better (for him/fantasy) offense, or just somewhere where there is more opportunity, he gets a bump in value.

I would rather have AJB over Cook and agree is similar to DK. I always build with WR so I will always lean WR over second contract WR. I would even take Godwin and Reagor over Cook.

Im a Vikings fan... Cook is getting banged up some. Every time he comes up from the bottom of the pile I am holding my breath. I see that you rejected the trade but.. yeah like he rest said build with WR's. I would rather have DK than cook. I am unsure about Godwin and Reagor. I was so high up in Reagor (bought him in my league) but have been disappointed with Wentz. If you can get AJB and Reagor for Cook I probably would take it.. or wait until Cook Shreds Jax this weekend and then sell even high. I think a huge reason why cook was having such great success before the last few weeks was because Ezra Cleveland stepped up on the line and then he got hurt. Ezra is back this week and I bet Cook rebounds... So with all that ranting.. maybe try to sell for even higher after this weekend.
