Carson for Mixon

12 team superflex, .5 PPR TE premium, team two in sig. I'm deadlast and just lost Burrow.

Have a contender interested in Carson to help their run. What would you add to Carson to land Mixon?

So far he has asked for Carson plus my 2nd (most likely 2.01). I'm pushing for Carson + the mid 2nd I have (2.06-2.09). I have a plethora of young receivers too, so could see if I can hook him on Agholor or N'Keal Harry (he's a fan).

Carson and a 2nd seems like a solid price for Mixon long term in theory. I'm still a but torn on Mixon but Carson has a consistent injury issue it seems. Harry or Agholor instead of a 2nd would be a better price though.

I'd rather keep the 2.01 I think. If you can pull off the mid 2nd I'd do that, but in SF there are going to be some nice options at 2.01, either one of the possibly 6 QBs taken in the 1st round of the NFL draft, or a quality WR/TE

I do think that the upgrade from Carson to Mixon is pretty significant I just happen to be fairly low on both Carson and Mixon.

Additionally, given you aren't competing, and the other guy is, and that Mixon is on the IR for atleast 2 weeks while Carson will be back from injury for week 12 (supposedly) I think the values of the two players are a lot closer for a contender.

I wouldn't add the 2.1 in the deal, a mid second, yes. I like Carson, but he is always injured. Mixon still needs help and they will add another high pick in the deal this year and hopefully it will add to the o-line, a healthy Burrow again and he will finally live up to his potential. His upside is much greater than Carsons.

Yeah I feel the 2.1 is too much as well. Thanks, I'll see if I get a bite.

I'd add the 2.01 to Carson for Mixon pretty easily.

Offer right now is Mixon for Carson + the 2.07-2.09 pick.

With your build and record you mentioned in the other Mixon feed, I would make this deal.

I dunno. I'd play hardball. I'm not sure Mixon is worth paying all of these 2nds. Maybe I do the Carson/2.07 for Mixon deal but I'm not desperate. Keeping the picks and Carson is not a bad option. As a Mixon owner, it's been a painful last 2 years so I can tell you he isn't worth the overpay IMO. Everything looks great on paper related to Mixon... new contract, young, good young QB. Then we watch Gio and Perine cut into his workload (which is already pedestrian) and we see that Burrow is not a checkdown guy.

Interesting, I read that as a 2nd somewhere in that range. If that is three 2nd round picks on top, I think that is a little steep. I get the upside of Mixon and the workload, but I'm not sure he is a clear cut slam dunk either. I would do the deal if this is one 2nd, but not three.

Just for clarity, I also read it as a range for one pick. I would not pay that many 2nds either.

It would just be a single 2nd in that pick range.
