Claypool Trade (Poll)

I reached out to the CC owner to check his price. He came back with a steep offer but I was the one who reached out so fair enough. He wants Chark/Ruggs for CC. I feel I am buying high but will I have to pay more next season? I feel CC is on a DK Metcalf projection. Buy high now or buy higher later?

I love CC and his status as a Pitt WR will improve next year (assume no juju) but his future QB situation could be a question mark. I am fine trading Ruggs as he is not a reliable fantasy asset but I do see Chark having nice production in the future. I expect a new stud QB in Jax next year which may boost Charks production.

Thoughts? Am I getting the best asset in the deal even though the value favours the other owner?

Ruggs looks very raw and could easily go either way. If you like Claypool more then Chark, I would lock him up for the price.

I don't think it's an unreasonably high price to be honest. It's absolutely an overpay based on current market value but if you think Claypool could be on a Metcalf trajectory it could be worth it to go get your guy.

I ended up making the trade this afternoon with the other owner even after the Claypool TD. He watched the Raiders game tonight and questioned Henry Ruggs existence... haha.

I think you'll be glad you made this trade. Chark is stuck in Jacksonville purgatory and Ruggs will take years to hopefully do what Claypool is already doing.

Agreed. I was all over Chark after his tough rookie year but this is a steal for Claypool. Ruggs can be big time too, but take the now who is improving every week.

I had three league owners text me to say that I way overpaid for Claypool... they all sent me the results of their trade calculators. I am gonna love sending them the trade calculators back next year when Claypool's value spikes!
