Team two in sig. 12 team .5 PPR, 25 man rosters. 2-8 record and out of the playoffs. I have two 1sts. Had this proposal:

Give:
Fournette + 1st (picks 7-12)

Get:
Sutton + 2021 2nd (most like 22nd) and 2021 3rd.

I have two other 2nd's and chips to potentially move up in the draft. Thoughts?

Sutton side, if that's who you want to spend a 1st on. I might try to target someone else though, not a big Sutton fan.

I have some reservations about Sutton as well, however he would allow me to potentially move someone like OBJ or Woods and a 2nd for another RB to keep churning my roster to make it fit my timeline to compete better.

My greatest concern is this leaves me with Carson and Dobbins as my RBs. I will be in a position to take a top RB in the 2021 class but I still feel thin there.

I'm somewhat surprised by how heavily everyone likes the Sutton side. I feel in SF that late first could grab a starting QB and there's always the chance that Fournette ends up in Pitt or AZ or another RB needy team looking to win now. Of course he could get stuck behind RoJo in TB just as easily. I'm a little torn because the two firsts could help me draft and RB and a QB.

Me too!

I like Sutton more than Fournette, but I'm not high on either one. I would rather hold and use that first on someone else.

I feel like there are a lot of great landing spots for Fournette if he doesnt stay in TB:
Miami
Pittsburgh
Houston
NYJ
AZ
CHI

Not sure what cap looks like for all of those teams but it feels like he has a good shot on taking a lead role again.

You are 2-8 I'd be in complete sell mode with your roster. I'm holding Burrow, JKD, all of your young wr's and selling everything else. Carson, LF, OBJ, Woods and load up on as many players / picks as possible. I'd also pass on the deal, you have a lot of young talent at wr in D Johnson, Campbell, Aiyuk and Reagor. Yes in a nutshell the value is there, but you need another qb, possibly Trevor, and rb depth, which may slide to you with qb's going early in a SF.

I don't disagree. I do feel Sutton makes it easier to move OBJ/Woods. I also feel like Sutton has a good 3-5 years left in him so he should be able to produce while younger players are still breaking out.

At this point the trade is looking like Fournette and my 2nd (13-15OA) for Sutton. I would still have two 1sts and a mid 2nd going into the draft and could move Woods.
