Golladay Long Term

Any thoughts on Golladay’s long term value? I own him and am of the opinion that I want to get him off of my roster sooner than later. He is great when he plays but he does have some injuries piling up and a contract issue. He plays very hard and almost every reception is contested with him crashing hard to the ground. I could see a short shelf life similar to Dez Bryant due to his physical style of play and lack of separation. Thoughts?

I don't get the love for this guy. He's a year younger than Tyler Lockett, gets consistently out produced by Tyler Lockett, and costs 4x as much as Tyler Lockett.

I'd much rather pay 1/4th as much for a guy like Lockett/Woods/Boyd than pay top 10 WR prices for Golladay, which somehow is how people still value him.

I have tried straight up for Kareem Hunt - rejected. I have tried straight up for James Robinson (I am all in for this year) - rejected. So it seems my league is down on Golladay and he may have a suppressed value with my league-mates. Based on a few text messages with league-mates, I am having issues even getting a 2021 first rounder...

It’s crazy how missing a couple games due to injury has people forgetting that he finished WR6 overall (in half PPR) last year with 2nd and 3rd string QBs throwing him the ball. I’ll never say a player is unmovable, but don’t sell him cheap if that’s all your league mates are willing to offer.

I really like Kenny but this post makes a lot of sense. I think for production wise you probably are better off targeting some of the guys he mentioned.

I like Golladay, but I wouldn’t move him just for the sake of it if the return isn’t worthwhile. That said, if he’s essentially a depth piece for you, I’d probably take a 2021 1st if it projects as early-mid.

For what its worth i was feeling the same and 2 weeks ago i traded him, Everett and 21 2nd for robby anderson and waller in our start 2 te league

You do have the resources at WR to trade him. I do get the feeling that Galloway's value will go down in the next year or two and as someone else said don't trade him just to trade him make sure you get good value.

He's a hold for me right now. Wait until he gets rolling again and then sell him if you want to.

Bad time to sell, and if you can't get more than a 1st worth of value he's worth more on your roster.

I decided to hold him until he gets back to playing and scoring WR1 points. I will look to offload in future weeks or in the offseason when he is potentially a hot free agent creating some hype. Thanks all.
