Looking to lock in a championship roster

Hoping all of you can give me good advice for team in sig. I am sitting at 7-2 and have a strong team. Currently my starting 9 are ( when healthy)

An owner offered me David Johnson for a 2021 1st ( likely 1.10 or lower). Question is, does that help me? I qm not sure who johnson clearly replaces to make me better.. i have some concerns with zeke but am I benching zeke for Johnson? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You could very well end up benching Zeke or Jacobs for Johnson this year. Hard to even say that about Zeke.

Would I make that deal? Probably not because the offset isn’t worth it based on your bench RB.

I would not pay a 1st for Johnson. If you move your 1st, look for a better asset now and over the next few years.

I do think you need to make a move, I don't think it is to get a DJ (who left this week's game with a concussion i believe) for a 1st.

Agree - I don't think that roster is locked and ready for a championship (It's damn good, but a lot of question marks) - and I don't think Johnson is the definitive answer here.

Agree with the general sentiment here - don't do it.

If to do anything, you could look to upgrade your WR.
Perhaps pairing your 1st with Higgins and see if you can something significant there.

Johnson is very much on the way out and not worth close to a first at this point, irregardless of where it falls. I don't hate the idea of loading up on an extra asset to sure up your depth for a run but not at this kind of costing. Better to either hunt for a cheaper option or buy into someone younger with some upside. Maybe see what you can get Gaskin for or better yet go get a WR as I think you could do with one more guy there too.

Try adding your first to a player to upgrade rather than get someone you'll never start.
