Cost of Hill

Owner interested in Swift and knows I wanted Hill. Of course not straight up, but given my depth at WR, is it worth the upgrade of Hill to lose Swift for depth/future?

Can’t rely on my other RB this year for various reasons that you can see.

The other RB he has to send back are Monty, Singletary, Drake.

Basically my thought is if my RB are going to be trash, let them be trash and try to win through WR?

Sorry, no way should you do that trade. You need Swift and frankly next year I would guess he is a low end RB1, which you need.

You are way heavy at wide receiver considering your roster settings. If you want Hill, and he’s a contender offer up MT.

You can make the deal with such shallow starting requirements in your league. But the problem is what if Zeke or Mixon go dow?? Could you package a few wr's to land Hill?? You have a ton of wr's. I'd either look to package them for Hill or have another deal to land another rb to replace Swift.

Hill would be a great land, but I think it hurts your build overall. Sometimes a deal is just not right for a team.

I only built the WR through the season. If one person was going to snatch all RB and others wouldn’t trade their RB, I figured I’d be a jerk and take WR.

Appreciate the comment. Exactly my take with Swift. I know I should be unloading WR for RB, but I’d have to over pay for the likes of a Carson

I don't think there's even a chance you should make this move. Hill is great but your WRs are ridiculous. Swift is easing into a really nice role for this season and will likely be a bigger piece for next year. If anything, I would do what other suggested and package a few of your lesser WRs together to get another solid RB. I'm guessing this particular owner has a thing for Swift and that deal probably won't happen without him involved so I would probably move on.

You are exactly right. I made a move with them earlier in the year that involved him giving Swift in a package where Singletary went to him and he’s having severe remorse over it.
