JT or CEH

Postby ltgarygreen » Mon Nov 09, 2020 1:17 pm

I have a trade on the table where I can choose between getting J. Taylor + N. Fant or CEH + G. Everett. I would be sending Kittle so really need to pick up a TE - prefferably Fant - but I like CEH more than Taylor. Also need to win my next 2 games and CEH would have his BYE W10 so really torn here. No worries for either back long term? In that case maybe I should go JT and Fant who I can plug and play right away.

12 team non-PPR Superflex start 2rb/3wr/2flex/1te

Thanks

I actually prefer Kittle to either package because he is nearly impossible to replace. Of the two packages though, I would take Taylor and Fant. Fant is the much better TE here and Taylor and CEH are close. With Albert O going down for the year, Fant is the unquestioned main TE target going forward.

I’d probably hold Kittle here as well, but I see the JT/Fant package as much better than CEH/Everett.

Thanks for replying. My issue is Kittle won’t score any points rest of year and I have nothing behind him. Getting Fant and Taylor would solve that. I would be giving Sutton as well though...😬

Are you competing? Replacing Kittle simply won't happen but Fant looks legit.

Taylor looks bad. I'd aim for getting more to be honest.

So the offer is Kittle/Sutton for one of those packages? Without seeing the rest of your team, or knowing where you stand in your league currently, it’s tough to gauge if a trade like this (where you’re arguably giving the best 2 dynasty pieces) makes you significantly more competitive this year.

Regardless, if this really is Kittle/Sutton that you’d be giving, l would absolutely hold. I wouldn’t be opposed to moving either, or both, but this is far too light either way.

I'd look elsewhere if you need to deal Kittle. I don't really like either of these trades. I'm worried about Taylor and would probably take the CEH side if I had to.

Exactly, offer would be Kittle/Sutton. I'm in 1st place right now with 1 more win than the 2nd and 3rd team. However, I'm playing both these teams next 2 weeks and am a bit behind in points forward so I really need to win those games in order to make the POs. I should have a pretty good line-up but missing some of the boom I'm hoping for with CEH/JT etc. Also I have nothing at TE as you can see. Starters right now:

QB: Herbert/Wentz
RB: Zeke/Jacobs/
WR: Hopkins/Arob/Julio
TE: R. Dwelley
FLEX: Juju/Montgomery

Recieved a tweak on the offer where I would send Kittle + Mayfield for JT + Daniel Jones... Should add that I really like Sutton for next year but I am pretty deep at WR and would really need an upgrade for my Montgomery as well as a TE. Thanks again

Neither is a bad deal in a non TE premium league. I think CEH and JT will have very productive careers still

Giving up this much is a easy pass for me. I'd look elsewhere.

Ended up pivoting a bit in order to keep Kittle. Sent Mayfield + Sutton + future late 1st for JT + Fant + future early 2nd. Thanks for the feedback. Glad I kept Kittle. Think JT improves my chances this year and long term I think he turns out to be the stud we thought he would be.

Which package is irrelevant to me because Kittle+Sutton is considerably more than I would give for either one.
