Update: Trade done - 1st or Woods?

Team in sig. My schedule was real bad which made me have a current record of 2-6 (even tough im 2nd in Points scored). I don't see a chance of getting to the playoffs so I'm kind of rebuilding. I currently have an offer for Woods on the table.

I would give

Woods + 22 5th (maybe I can make it a 22 6th)

and I would get

22 1st (mid to late as he's a contender this year and probably next year too)

Does this make sense for me? Normally I wouldn't sell Woods but with no chance of competing this year Im think hard about it.
Aprreciate the input!

Woods is always undervalued on the market and if you are heading for a multi year rebuild, I would take a 1st for him. As I mentioned, with him being undervalued on the market, this is top return.

I wish the first was this year but this isn't bad value for the most underrated WR every year in a rebuild.

I already have his 1st for this year. I got it in a Henry for DJM deal before, so the 22 1st was a compromise.

But yes, he truly is undervalued year after year, but he also is going to be 29 next year so I want to get out while I can.

2022 1st for me. Rebuild or no.

As others have said, Woods is always undervalued, and for no good reason. With relatively deep starting requirements I'm not selling him for a 2022 1st, however. I think your team needs a 1 year retool rather than a full blown rebuild. Woods is still just 28, and he is locked into that offense for the next few seasons. You should be able to add a RB or 2 in the draft, or perhaps move those picks to address that need. A 2021 1st would move the needle enough for me to sell him though.

you are 2nd in points so your team can't be that bad. you'll have a shot next season, and woods will be just as good as he is now.

Your team still seems like it's not going to compete this year, so I'm fine with this move, even with the pick 2 years out. First Dak is out, which also kills Coopers value ( I feel your pain on that one ). I look to possibly lose as many games as possible this season to get a better pick in 2021 which will help in your rebuild. So when everyone is healthy and back next season you have extra ammo with the 1st to add to your roster or you simply add 2 more young players.

Update: I did the trade but was able to get an additional 2nd in 22. So in total it ended up being Woods + 22 5th + 22 6th for 22 1st + 22 2nd
