Massive Superflex Trade

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Massive Superflex Trade

Postby Ron_Y » Fri Oct 30, 2020 3:37 pm

Team 2. Defending champ and I have a pretty darn good team with a strong chance of repeating.

I was just offered

Mike Evans
Keenan Allen
James Conner

For

Dak Prescott
JK Dobbins

Dak is super valuable in this format but obviously doing nothing for me this year. Herbert was a nice surprise, but Ryan and Wentz are not exactly rock stars at this point that I want to rely on completely. Dobbins hasn’t done much this year but I’m still a big believer long term.

Evans scares me although I feel like I SHOULD want him - Allen seems great, and Conner is nice since half my rbs are injured - and when I can start up to 4 per week it is really nice to have the strong stable of RBs

I’ve been leaning towards saying no because I think it hurts me long term, but think if I say yes then I may have a stronger chance at repeating as champ this year.

Posting here because I love discussion about this stuff, and like different perspectives

I don't like it long term in SF. It certainly helps you this year, but it's not good after that. I would hold. I'm very high on Allen too. Prescott is just far too valuable.

Not a good deal for you, imo. 12 starters makes it close though. Id counter without JK Dobbins if you think you want to make a run with the other guys though.

I think you really only have Evans and KA for 2-3 years left. Connor is meh. Dak should be good for another decade...i think. Wentz vould fizzle out and Ryan has another 3-4 years. If youbtake thebdeal you are going to have a good 3 year window but def some problems after that.

First off - love the name.

Second - That’s definitely the thought process. I thought about countering with Dobbins for KA/Conner - still debating that one

Only KA would start based on your teams signature. Evans is not someone you start with confidence since last year. He will probably have a 40 point game against your team when you play against him but that’s about it lol.

Unless you get injuries or turn around Connor he doesn’t also add value.

Hold for now is my thought.

Think you lose very badly in this deal and are moving the 2 most valuable pieces.

I agree with others. Dak and dobbins, while not helping you now, are two very valuable long term pieces (especially dak).

After looking at your roster, you don't need any of those 3 guys. It's likely Evans, Allen, and Conner don't even start for you.
